The selection of the highest quality raw materials and perfect assembly, using the precision of CNC machines, characterize the entire production.

A piano consists of approximately 5000 different parts, requiring a highly complex production process - but we have summarised the procedures below:
Top quality slow growing spruce from Mongolia, Austria and Russia are selected for the soundboard, ribs, and the back stays.
Bridges, laminated pin blocks, soundboard bearings, etc. are made from high quality European, Chinese and Canadian hardwoods.
The soundboards are kept in specialised drying rooms. The action parts and keyboard are also stored in dry areas to avoid shrinkage later.
The frames are also cast in Ningbo at our factory!
The casts are first stored for six months, before they are milled and drilled with computer-controlled CNC machines. Thereafter, they are primed, sprayed and fitted with attachment screws and wooden dowels.
CNC machines provide perfect parts for assembly, to be glued together with great accuracy, thus guaranteeing stable construction ensuring decades of reliability in tuning, stability and tone.
After gluing together the back stays, pinblock and soundboard joints, CNC milling accurately controls the curvature and position of the ribs. This operation guarantees the optimum range and accuracy of the sound of our instruments.
While mounting the soundboard, a computer-controlled thermal press is used, which also guarantees a perfectly constant curvature and perfect fit with the soundboard joints.
After gluing the soundboard to the back stays, this is cut laterally and vertically with total accuracy.
After the cast iron frame is mounted, computerized drilling of the pinblock takes place. Thereafter, the tuning pins are pressed into the pinblock with high uniform pressure controlled bits. This operation ensures a high level of tuning stability
When stringing the piano, steel wire by "Röslau" and "Paulello" is used and great attention to the uniformity.
Only the highest quality copper is used for the bass strings, which are made by hand or by semi automated machines operated by specially trained experts
The pins are accurately installed in sections, resulting later in a smooth tuning capability, aswell as good pitch stability.
The first tuning is done by plucking the strings and the piano is quickly brought up to tension to the desired pitch.
A hydraulic press is used to form the shell with great accuracy.
