In oposite of that times traditions, the history of the FEURICH company began with the vertical piano and not with the grand piano, as usual.

Already 1851 the founder of the company Julius Gustav Feurich presented the first piano with underdamper action. This development took him about 50 years ahead of other piano manufacturers. A design concept which still is used today in the 21st century. Such a piano made in 1853 is in the collection of the FEURICH company - and still plays.

FEURICH pianos are manufactured by hand and with love by highly skilled piano builders. The used materials are at the same of highest quality. The vertical piano is due to its design principals smaller and space-saving and in the end less expensive than a grand piano.

FEURICH vertical pianos reflects the high end quality of german piano building. FEURICH vertical pianos are available in three different sizes - 116, 118 and 123. From the school-piano to the concert-piano with sostenuto pedal and Fandrich-Renner action.
